PURPOSE:To provide the subject pellet containing a fatty acid calcium salt and a starchy substance, effective in administering a high calorific oil and fat (fatty acid) in high efficiency to a ruminant after delivery, having high hardness and PDI value, resistant to collapse and having excellent handleability. CONSTITUTION:The objective pellet contains preferably 50-90wt.% of a fatty acid calcium salt (e.g. palm oil fatty acid calcium salt or beef tallow fatty acid calcium salt) and preferably 5-20wt.% of a starchy substance (e.g. potato starch or corn starch). |
