<p>The voice-controlled data entry device for computers, particularly personal computers, has a computer-controlled control system, at least one microphone, an audio-frequency amplifier (36), an analog-digital converter (42), a comparator (46), a permanent memory (48) for digital storage of spoken words, and connected to the comparator (46) a microprocessor (50) which on the output side can be connected via a multipoint connector (34) to the keyboard input of a computer (24). Words spoken into the microphone, amplified by the audio-frequency amplifier (36) and digitized by the analog-digital converter (42) are compared in the comparator (46) with the words stored in the memory (48). When a spoken word matches a stored word, the microprocessor (50) delivers a variable, serial sequence of pulses to the multipoint connector (34), corresponding to the signal norm for the control pulse sequences given from the keyboard (22).</p> |
