PURPOSE:To perform a smooth start without accelerative vibration by generating a sudden change of friction torque, when an elevator with reduction gear is started, serving as a compensation control signal at the time of starting correcting the speed reference from a speed controller. CONSTITUTION:A speed controller 10 controls a speed of an electric motor 1 in accordance with a deviation between a speed reference from a speed command generator 9 and a feedback signal from a speed detector 7. At the time of starting by an operation command 42a, an unbalanced load detector 8, provided in a cage 4, detects a sudden decrease of friction torque serving as a start time compensation signal, further a difference from a speed signal is switched in the polarity and added by signals of an operation direction command circuit 39 and a polarity discriminating circuit 32 through a differential amplifier 36, being added to the speed reference, via the speed controller 10, corrected. When an elevator speed increases thereafter to a predetermined value, a start compensation separator circuit 41 is separated by an output of a speed level detecting circuit 40. Thus a smooth start without accelerative vibration can be performed. |
