PURPOSE:To reduce the intrusion of heat to an internal tank, and to obtain strength sufficiently by forming the external shape of the side face of a supporter supporting the internal tank in a shape that the external shape is constricted gradually extending over approximately a center from both ends. CONSTITUTION:An internal tank 2 held at the temperature of liquid helium and an external tank 6 sustained at an atmospheric temperature are connected by one hourglass type load supporter 3, and floating force, driving force, etc., working to a coil 1 are received by the load supporter. A thermal anchor 4 is installed to an hourglass- shaped intermediate section, and the thermal anchor 4 is coupled thermally with a shield plate 5 held at the temperature of liquid nitrogen, thus reducing the intrusion of heat from the external tank 6 to the internal tank 2. When the position of the thermal anchor 5 is brought near to the external tank 6, the penetration of heat to liquid nitrogen is increased, and the penetration of heat to liquid helium is decreased. The load supporter 3 is positioned at the center of the internal tank 2, and the internal tank 2 is supported on the truck 7 side, and is not supported on the outside (the guide rail (atmospheric) side). Accordingly, the abnormal vibrations of the internal tank 2 with vibrations at the time of travelling are prevented, and the damage of the load supporter 3 is also obviated. |
