The U-shaped fowl marker (11) is made of stiff but flexible plastic. The arms (12) are joined together near the top (13) or yoke, where the thickness of the section is reduced, until a breaking size (14) is almost reached, to allow bending. At the other end (15), the arms (12) include flat plates (16), in which one end has a locking peg or pin (17) with a sharp point (18). This can be pressed into a hole (19) in one of the round ends, and it is not easily dislodged from the hole. |
