PURPOSE:To attain accurate correction by applying separate correction to a read means and an output means in an image processing unit. CONSTITUTION:Image data of a reference chart read by a color reader section A are stored once in data memories 122, 123, 124 and a correction value for the color reader section A is generated based on the data and stored in a data latch section/BA section 150. Then the color reader section A is corrected based on the stored correction data. On the other hand, an image outputted from an output section F is read by the color reader section A and the correction value is similarly generated and the correction value is stored in a color conversion section E as a correction value for the output section F. |
