<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out desulfurization at high temp. by supplying a finely powdered desulfurizing agent to the empty part of a gasification furnace, supplying an iron-based desulfurizing agent into the produced gas outlet pipe of the empty part to cause desulfurization, and extracting the spent desulfurizing agent, etc., from the slag outlet pipe of the slagging part. CONSTITUTION:The air from an air supply pipe 3 and coal from a coal feed pipe 4 are supplied to the slagging part B of the gasification furnace 1 to produce a high-temp. combustion gas. The sulfur compds. in the gas are removed by the finely powdered desulfurizing agent of limestone, etc., supplied from a supply pipe 2 of the empty part A. The char in the desulfurized gas is separated by a first cyclone 7, and the unreacted desulfurizing agent and spent desulfurizing agent are separated by a second cyclone 8. The gas is further desulfurized in the produced gas outlet pipe 20 by the iron-based desulfurizing agent supplied from the supply pipe 16, and the unreacted desulfurizing agent and spent desulfurizing agent are removed by a dust collector 12. The spent desulfurizing agent from the second cyclone 8 and dust collector 12 are sent to the slagging part B through a dust supply pipe 18, and discharged from the slag outlet pipe 5 to the outside of the system.</p> |
