Tensioning device for flexible cover stretched over a structure

The tensioner consists of a deformable arch with a bar (18) which is tensioned by a traction system at its ends. This causes the bar to exert a pressure on the underside of the cover. The traction system comprises a cable for each bar, connected to its ends by L-shaped cams (29) and brackets (31). The centre of the cable interacts with the ends of an inverted V-shaped frame beneath the arch. The position of each cam is controlled by a lever arm (33) extending from one end of it.
