<p>Harsh full voltage inductive switching action is removed from a commutator-type rotary switch 12 integral with a motor assembly 2 and is placed in relay contacts 38a, 38b external to the motor assembly 2 by controlling reduced current through the rotary switch 12 to the relay 38 to maintain the relay energized after a control voltage 14vdc is removed from the relay, and initiating a fixed time one-shot pulse generator 48 in response to the rotary switch opening the reduced current to de-energize the relay 38 and switch the load into a dynamic braking loop at a particularly timed moment. <IMAGE></p> |
