<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic brake valve which has a passage adjusted from the totally closing position to the fully opening position and a little requires precise machining. SOLUTION: An annular recessed part 10 is formed on one member of a valve. A seal member 8 is placed in the recessed part and pressed to the seal surface 202 of the other member 201 by a spring 6. An O-ring 18 in the seal member 8 prevents leakage of a fluid. Even if the seal member 8 wears away, the spring presses the seal member to the seal surface. The valve has a supply port, a discharge port and an exhaust port, and in the overlapping position, each port is separated from the other port. At least one of a passage 4 of one member and a passage 203 of the other member is formed in such a manner that the dimension in the parallel to the direction of shearing motion is larger than the dimension in the direction vertical to the direction of the shearing motion, whereby the pressure of a fluid is biased to the seal surface 202 of the seal member 8 by the force increasing with increase in the pressure in cooperation with the spring 6.</p> |
