PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a screen belt which is easily pressed on the inner peripheral wall face of a teapot and easily adapted to the variation of the inner wall diameter, by forming a bet-form screen and shaping it to have an arcuate form in the right-angled direction against the longitudinal direction thereof. SOLUTION: A mesh body woven with a wire material made of stainless steel or the like is cut off to make a slender rectangular flap, in the right-angled direction against the longitudinal direction in which the mesh body is wound up. Both corners of one end thereof is beveled in an arbitrary length. The belt-form screen with the beveled corners 10a is formed so that the outside face 11a in the right-angled direction against the longitudinal direction shows a protruded arc. The outside face 11a of the belt-form screen 1a is turned to the inside and bent to wind up it and form a tea strainer body 3a. Since the outside face 11a of the screen belt forming an arc is positioned at the inside of the teapot body 22 and bent to wind up it, it has an elastic restoring force in the direction shown by an arrow mark 12a so as to form a protruded shape shown by a two-dotted chain line before bending and winding. But pressing forces in the direction shown by arrow marks 12b acts on both upper and lower ends of the belt-form screen 1a to closely stick the screen to the inner peripheral wall face 27 and hence, the belt-form screen can be easily fitted. |
