PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preliminarily heat the tire mold attached to a vulcanizing machine within a short time just before the vulcanization of a tire is started in the first place in the vulcanizing machine. SOLUTION: A flow rate adjusting valve 1 of steam for controlling the temp. of a tire mold K is provided on the way of the piping line for heating the tire mold K mounted on a vulcanizing machine by steam. A simple line capable of fully opening the flow rate adjusting valve 1 is added or the software of control is added to maximize the opening degree of the flow rate adjusting valve 1 at the beginning of preheating. A large quantity of steam is supplied to the tire mold K at a stroke to rapidly raise the temp. of the mold and, after the elapse of a definite time or at a time when the tire mold K reaches a predetermined temp., the opening degree of the flow rate adjusting valve is adjusted to control the temp. of the tire mold K. |
