PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an ink for ink jet recording, having a specific attenuation factor of filtration velocity, good in preservation stability, capable of carrying out the stable printing even after stopping the printing for a long time or at the time of continuous jetting without causing nozzle clogging even when a printing head is not fitting into a cap and capable of performing high-speed printing. SOLUTION: This ink for ink jet recording is prepared so as to provide <=20% value of R defined by the formula R=[(V5 -V30 )/V5 ]×100 [R is the attenuation factor of filtration velocity (%); V5 is the filtration velocity (g/sec) when filtering 5g ink; V30 is the filtration velocity when filtering 30g ink; a filter having 4cm<2> effective filtration area and 0.2μm filtration pore diameter is used] and further, as necessary, <=50dyn/cm surface tension. The ink is obtained by repetitively filtering, e.g. an ink for the ink recording until the prescribed value of R is attained. |
