<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary atomizing electrostatic applicator which can prevent the generation of eddies and improve the adhesive efficiency of coating material. SOLUTION: In a rotary atomizing electrostatic applicator which has a rotary cap 21, a coating nozzle 23 for supplying coating material on the front surface of the cap 21, and the first and second air ejection openings 15, 16 which respectively eject air around the cap 21 from behind the cap 21 forward and are both arranged on a concentric circle different from the axis of a spray head, an open space 4 is formed between the first and second air ejection openings 15, 16, and an arc-shaped oblong hole 5 is formed upstream from the space 4 as a vent hole. Constitution in which a discharge electrode 32 is installed near the outlet of the second air ejection opening 16 so that dehumidified air is ejected from the second air ejection opening 16 is provided, while wet air is ejected from the first air ejection opening 15.</p> |
