PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a groove roller effectively and permit a long life by supplying a washing liquid to the surface of the groove roller. SOLUTION: A washing liquid supplying device 6 is mounted on a device frame 2 together with a wire running device 3, a pushing device 4, a working liquid supplying device 5 and the like. The washing liquid supplying device 6 is constituted of a washing liquid pump, supplying washing liquid such as oil, demineralized water and the like, a washing liquid supplying nozzle 16, a guide plate 20, guiding working liquid and washing liquid, which are dispersed from groove rollers 7b, 7c, a washing liquid receiving member 21 and the like. The washing liquid supplying nozzle 16 is arranged so as to be intersected orthogonally to a wire 8 to supply the washing liquid to the groove rollers 7b, 7c vertically and wash the rollers. The opening area of a slit type opening unit of the washing liquid supplying nozzle 16 is constituted so as to be capable of being adjusted. According to this method, the groove rollers 7b, 7c are washed and cooled whereby the thermal expansion thereof can be restrained and the positional accuracy of the wire 8 can be improved. |
