PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select cut refuse produced by cutting aluminum cans and steel cans indiscriminately into steel refuse and aluminum refuse surely and automatically by using the attractive force of a magnet. SOLUTION: N poles and S poles are arranged alternately in one half of a drum 1, and the last magnetic pole is made the same as that just before, a nonmagnetic sleeve 3 is attached to the periphery of the drum 1 freely rotatably, a feed chute 5 for cut refuse in which aluminum refuse 8 and steel refuse 9 are mixed is installed toward a magnet part in the upper part of the drum 1, an aluminum refuse receiving part 6 is placed below one half of the drum 1, a steel refuse receiving part 7 is placed below the other half of the drum 1, and the sleeve 3 is rotated. |
