PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glossiness while improving water resistance without lowering the light fastness of a dye by providing a hydrophilic binder layer containing polyalkyleneimine and a hydrophilic binder layer containing at least either one of polyvinyl alcohol and its derivative on a hydrophobic support. SOLUTION: A hydrophilic binder layer A containing polyalkyleneimine and a hydrophilic binder layer B containing at least either one of polyvinyl alcohol and its derivative are at least provided on a hydrophobic support in this order from a support side. As polyalkyleneimine, polyethyleneimine is desirable. Further, the layer containing polyalkyleneimine contains at least either one of gelatin and its derivative. Further, the total amt. of polyvinyl alcohol and its derivative in the hydrophilic binder layer is 3g or more per 1m<2> of ink jet recording paper. |
