摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new DNA, capable of coding a human neuroblastoma specific paired-like homeobox (NBPhox) protein, having a specific amino acid sequence and specifically expressible in a neuroblastomatous cell and useful as a probe or a primer, etc., for diagnosing a human neuroblastoma. SOLUTION: This DNA is a new one, capable of coding a human NBPhox protein, having an amino acid sequence represented by the formula and specifically expressible in a neuroblastomatous cell and useful as a probe or a primer, etc., for genetic diagnosis of a human neuroblastoma. The new DNA can readily be obtained from a cDNA library derived from a human neuroblastomatous cell mRNA by utilizing a plaque hybridization method, a polymerase chain reactional(PCR) method using the cDNA library derived from the human neuroblastomatous cell mRNA as a template or a reverse transcription- polymerase chain reactional(RT-PCR) method using the human neuroblastomatous cell mRNA as a starting substance.
