<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a clear MR image to be obtained even if treatment using a treatment device and observation using an MRI device are performed simultaneously, without permitting an electromagnetic wave from the treatment device to affect the RF magnetic field of the MRI device. SOLUTION: This MRI treatment system 1 has a magnet 4 for producing a static magnetic field, and includes an MRI device which provides an internal magnetic resonance image by imparting a high-frequency magnetic field of a predetermined frequency to a living body 6 placed in the static magnetic field produced by the magnet 5, and receiving the internal magnetic resonance signals produced. Further, the system has an electromagnetic wave treatment device with has both an electromagnetic wave oscillator 2 capable of transmitting electromagnetic wave with frequencies that do not affect the RF magnetic field of the MRI device and an applicator 12 which can be inserted into the living body 6 to treat any lesions by imparting the energy of electromagnetic wave from the electromagnetic wave oscillator 2 to the lesions.</p> |
