PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a ferule for an optical multicore connector performing the butt connection of a plurality of optical fibers collectively with especially high accuracy at the same time according to a mass production system. SOLUTION: The fiber pins 3 arranged to a plurality of the V-groove parts provided to the lower mold 10 of the ferule forming space part 20 of upper and lower molds 17, 10 of the ferule of an optical multicore connector are pressed by the fiber pin holding part 2 provided to the upper mold at the position opposed to the adhesive injection window forming part 11 of the mold 10 and, in this state, a plastic material is injected into the ferule forming space part 20 to produce the ferule. |
