<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reasonably priced C-shaped fastening member for fastening a hot water polybutene tube inserted into a brass pipe joint. SOLUTION: This metal joint is composed of a joint main body having an attaching screw part in one side, a tube inserting part in the other side and a nut part between these and a C-shaped fastening member 8 having a pair of flange parts 10 and 10A for inserting and fastening a polybutene tube in the tube inserting part. This fastening member 8 is made of sheet metal, a nut is welded to one flange part 10, a downward box inner wall 18 is bent and formed around the nut, a downward box outer wall 21 is bent and formed in the other flange part 10A, the outer wall 21 is fitted in the inner wall 18 during fastening and thus one side fastening is prevented and also since the fastening member is made of sheet metal, a price is reduced.</p> |
