PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject preventing tool produced by attaching a perch to a bracket detachably attached to a wire-supporting arm of an electric pole and putting a rotatable pipe on the perch, thereby inhibiting the perching of a bird on the perch by the rotation of the rotatable pipe to prevent the nesting of bird. SOLUTION: A perch 5 is attached through a supporting member 4 to brackets 2, 2 detachably attached to a wire-supporting arm 11 of an electric pole 10 and a rotatable pipe 8 is put on the perch 5 to inhibit the perching of a bird by the rotation of the pipe. The perch 5 is positioned at a distance of about 60-100mm from the base of the bracket 2.
