Self-adhesive protective film, esp. for cars, has a film base with a self-adhesive coating of polyethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) having a loss angle tan delta of 0.6-1.0 at 60 degrees C and 10<-2> Hz and of 0.4-0.7 at 60 degrees C and 10 Hz. Pref. the protective film is 50-200, esp. 65-80 mu m thick. The film base consists of polypropylene and/or polyethylene and is 10-100, esp. 50-60 mu m thick. The back of the film is coated with a release lacquer; and a primer is used between the film and adhesive. |
