PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food container used for storing foods comprising relatively small items and dispensing it. SOLUTION: A food container 10 has an internal carrier which can be vertically positioned in a receive 12 and is guided by a vertical rib 26 of the receive, wherein the carrier is manually moved by its center handle 48. The handle is hollow and receives a food catching fork so that it can be freely released.
