PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote regeneration of a defective skin and formation of a new skin by forming a wound covering material with non-crystalline fibroin film. SOLUTION: This wound covering material applied on a skin defective part as an artificial skin is formed by using fibroin solution as a material and manufactured by making it into a film. The fibroin solution is provided by refining a silk substance and removing sericin, and the silk substance is so refined that, after it is boiled and washed in enzyme and alkaline solution such as sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, etc., it is soaked in hot water and a chemical substance such as sericin and sodium carbonate is dissolved and removed. The solution formed by dissolving the silk substance is dialyzed using a semi-permeable membrane tube, etc., so as to prepare the fibroin solution removed dissolving assistant. The fibroin solution is made into a film by spreading the fibroin solution on a smooth solid surface and remove water by evaporation. |
