<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit classifying recovery with respect to every unit materials with a high purity and a high recovering rate by a method wherein the mixture of crushed plastics is classified by wind power to recover respective particles, whose specific gravity is near the specific gravity of a unit material, then, the particles are classified in an aqueous medium in accordance with the specific gravity thereof and, thereafter, dehydrating treatment is applied to the classified plastics. SOLUTION: Crushed plastics mixture 1 is supplied into a wind power classifying device 3 to remove plastics (1d), such as powdered plastic (1a), foamed plastic and the like which are provided with a small apparent specific gravity, by the ventilation of a ventilating fan 34 and the suction of a suction fan 33. Remaining mixture of plastics (1a, 1b) is mixed to an aqueous medium 100, having a specific gravity optimum to the classification by specific gravity, in a mixing device 4 and is agitated. The mixed liquid 101 is introduced into a liquid specific gravity classifier 6 to classify in accordance with the specific gravity of the liquid. According to this method, a plastic (1b) having heavy specific gravity is discharged into a water cutting tank 72 from the lower part of the classifier while a plastic, having light specific gravity (1c) is discharged into a water cutting tank 71 from the upper part of the classifier 6 respectively and, thereafter, they are dehydrated. The plastics can be recovered with the purity of about 95% and the recovery rate of about 95% in such a manner.</p> |
