PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade area corresponding to wind force by streching and loosening a blade-shaped rib slidably mounted to the beam of a rotor head by being directed to the rotor head through a rope, and by providing a winch by which the blade area is increased/decreased according to the wind force. SOLUTION: A plurality of beams 21, 22 is fixed to a rotor head 7, and a plurality of ribs 3, 4, 5, 6 to be guided is slidably mounted to these beams 21, 22. A wind mill blade is formed by sticking an outer skin formed of a flexible sheet material to the peripheries of the ribs 3, 4, 5, 6. Also, a fastening metal fitting 10 is attached to the inside of the rib 6 at the end of wind mill blade, and a rope 9 is fixed to the fastening metal fitting 10 and wound up by a winch 14. When a wind speed is rapidly speeded up and the rotational speed of the wind mill blade exceeds a regulated value, a motor 15 is started and the rope 9 is wound up by the winch 14, therefore, the whole length of the wind mill blade can be shortened. |
