PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair tonic and hair nourishing agent, excellent in changing effect on a hair cycle from resting stage to growing stage, effective for prevention of alopecia, excellent in hair tonic and hair nourishing effect and safety, containing an extract of a vegetable such as Aspidistra elation Blume. SOLUTION: This hair tonic and hair nourishing agent contains more than one kind of extract selected from Aspidistra elation Blume in family Liliaceae, Lemna polyrrhiza L. in family Lemnaceae, Angelica sinensis in family Apiacease, Amomun Krervanh in family Zingiberaceae, Allium sativum in family Liliaceae, Centella asiatica urban in family Apiaceae and Spilanthes acmella Murr in family Compasitae. The extraction is performed by using water and/or an organic solvent (e.g. ethanol) and a mixing amount of the extract is 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.1-3wt.% in terms of a dried material. This hair tonic and hair nourishing agent can be applied to a cosmetic such as a hair tonic, a hair cream, a hair lotion, a hair mousse, a hair shampoo, a hair rinse and a milky lotion. |
