<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rolling efficiency by obtaining correlation among rolling temp., draft and hardness and rolling a steel sheet so as to obtain its objective thickness and hardness in the final path based on the value. SOLUTION: Correlation among rolling temp., draft and hardness in an austenitic stainless steel to be rolled is previously obtained, then rolling path frequency, objective rolling temp. and draft in each path and hardness after each path are decided so as to obtain the objective thickness and hardness of the sheet in the final rolling path based on correlation. The steel sheet 1 recoiled with a recoiling reel 2 is heated at a prescribed temp. with a heating device 4 which is directly heated with electric current from an electrode 5 to the steel sheet. The heated steel sheet 1 is rolled up to the objective sheet thickness with a rolling mill 3. The rolled steel sheet is cooled with a cooling device 7' and coiled with a coiling reel 2'. The steel sheet coiled after rolling is recoiled with the reel 2', heated with a heating device 4', and rolled in the secondary path. By this way, plural times of rolling are repeated, thereby obtaining the objective sheet thickness to become products.</p> |
