PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the breakage or the like of a bearing which is expensive and requires inconvenient maintenance by providing a hydrostatic pressure bearing pad to lift one of an adjustment nut and an adjustment screw in the direction of a bolster member and a fluid pipe to connect the feeding source of the pressurized fluid to the hydrostatic pressure bearing pad. SOLUTION: A hydrostatic pressure bearing pad 105 is positioned below an annular bottom face 66 of an adjustment nut 56 in a directly opposite manner. The hydrostatic pressure bearing pad 105 is provided with a recessed region in which the high pressure fluid is introduced because the component thereabove is supported, and a floor region adjacent to the recessed region in which the fluid from the recessed region overflows because the compressed oil film support is provided. The bearing pad 105 is locally formed by an annular bronze plate 107 fitted to a bolster bottom plate 42 or a bed 14 by a tightening tool such as a mechanical bolt 109.
