摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion preventive method capable of greatly improving the service life over the entire part of steel product parts at the time of manufacturing real structures, such as underground fuel tanks, the bottom plates of above-the-ground tanks, the legs of steel towers and the underground foundations of steel structures, by using the steel products brought into contact with the soil in the surface and underground unsaturated zones. SOLUTION: The steel products are coated with films of 40 to 500μm consisting of metals potentially baser than the steel products and the films of the steel products come into contact with the soil over the entire surface. Zinc, zinc-aluminum allay or aluminum, etc., are effective as the metals potentially baser than the steel products. These metals are adequate for formation of the films by thermal spraying. The service life is greatly improved at the time of manufacturing the real structures by using the steel products in the surface and underground unsaturated zones by such method. The long-term durability over the entire part of the structure is obtd. more easily than by the conventional methods without a cost increase. The total cost-effectiveness is extremely high.
