<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a coating process and prepare a coating film superior in appearance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance, tipping resistance and the like by coating cation electrodeposition coating material on a matter to be coated, further coating aq. coating material and high solid content coating material over the coated matter as a first and second finished coating films and heating-and-curing the finishing coating films. SOLUTION: A cation electrodeposition coating material containing a polyurethane modified amine added epoxy resin (A) and a non-ionic film forming region (B), weight ratio of the resin (A) to the resin (B) being in the range of 15/85 to 95/5, and containing substantially no pigment, is applied on a matter to be coated, and a coating film thus formed is heated-and-cured. Aq. coating material containing metallic pigment and/or coloring pigment is coated on an electrodeposition coating film thus formed as a first finishing and is subjected to heating-and-curing. As a second finishing, high solid content coating material containing carboxyl group-containing compound, vinyl polymer, reactive organo polysiloxane and crosslink-forming polymer fine grains, containing substantially no pigmented, is coated and a coating film thus formed is subjected to heating- and-curing.</p> |
