PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To favourably carry out construction work of a tunnel by making an element proceed drilling in a correct direction. SOLUTION: A knife edge element 13 to a fixed head part 14 of which a movable head part 15 is connected free to oscillate is connected to a head end of an element main body 12. Oscillating devices 21 extending to the rear side are provided on both side parts of the kinife edge element 13. The oscillating device 21 is constituted of a V connecting member 23 a head end part of which is connected to an upper side and a lower side on a side part of the movable head part 15 and rear end sides of which are connected to each other, a connecting rod 25 inserted into a connecting hole formed on a connecting point of rod bodies 25 of this connecting member 23, jacks 26 one ends of which are respectively connected to an upper part and a lower part of this connecting rod 25 and a support plate 27 of a square shape with one side open to which the other ends of these jacks 26 are connected. A closing plate 28 is provided on an outside of the oscillating device 21, the support plate 27 and the closing plate 28 are pushed in a coupler part 12a of the element main body 12 while inserting them into it, and the element main body 12 and the fixed head part 14 are welded and connected to each other.
