PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating opening cover or a ventilating opening cover member which is easy to fit to a ventilating opening and excels in general applicability. SOLUTION: This ventilating opening cover 1 has a filter 2 in whose peripheral part a belt-shaped part is formed and a string-shaped body 3 which can contract the peripheral part of the filter 2. The ventilating opening cover 1 is fitted to a ventilating opening by covering a ventilating opening formed into a frame body 7 provided on a wall with the ventilating opening cover 1 to contract the filter 2 with a side face of the frame body 7 and also covering a corner part of the wall and the frame body 7 with the belt-shaped part. A ventilating opening cover member is a cover member for a ventilating opening formed into the frame body 7, and contains the ventilating opening cover 1 having the contractible string-shaped body in the peripheral part of the filter 2 and an engaging member which is fitted to a side face of the frame body 7 and can be engaged with the peripheral part of the filter of the ventilating opening cover. The engaging member may include a base plate having tooth-shaped projecting pieces for engaging the filter therewith. |
