The correcting lens comprises a support in the form of a double ring (28) with outer (29) and inner (30) members, and an inner optical section (37) which is supple and pliable, while a peripheral haptic section is fixed to the outside of the double ring. The double supporting ring is 1.5-2.5 mm in size and has a coherent semi-rigid structure which is partially compressible, and has two or more bridges (31) between the rings. It also has a narrow and oblique aperture (15) to facilitate its introduction into the capsule. The double ring can be made from other materials, such as glass or polymer, pref. transparent, while the lens itself is of silicone or other suitable material. |
