<p>The invention comprises novel proteins and peptides derived from these proteins. The proteins are unique to sperm and testes, and the proteins and peptides are useful in vaccines for contraception in mammals. The proteins and peptides are also useful in diagnostic assays for assessing infertility. The invention also provides DNA molecules coding for the proteins and peptides and host cells containing the DNA molecules linked to expression control sequences for producing the proteins and peptides.</p> |
