A power generating equipment in which a plurality of cylindrical solid oxide fuel cell elements (28) are electrically connected to each other to constitute a collective cell and the collective cell is provided in a power generating chamber. Fuel gas supply means (27,40a) are arranged so that a fuel gas is supplied to the surface of each solid oxide fuel cell element (28) in the power generating chamber in an even manner in order to make small a temperature gradient due to a fuel concentration gradient in the chamber. Thereby, it can be prevented that cracks are generated in the solid oxide, and the unevenness of electrochemical reaction in the power generating chamber becomes small. The power generating efficiency is improved.
