Engagement and locking parts at the end of an inner jib section and in the top part at the front of the lifting section are used to couple the jib and lifting section together. The lifting section of the crane is fixed to an inner section (8) of the jib (5), housed inside the jib outer section (7). A first coupling part (14) at the end of the inner jib section lies opposite a second coupling part (15) in the front part (9) of the top (27) of the lifting section. Engagement parts (16, 17) in the two coupling parts are fitted together to couple the lifting section to the jib and are fixed into position using locking parts (19).
