A poster display system for presenting a plurality of different images includes an image grid (30) and a masking grid (25). The image grid (30) and the masking grid (25) are mounted for movement relative to one another and can be driven by a motor (10) and cam (8) between a first position in which a first set of strips of the image grid (30) are aligned with window strips in the grid (25) and a second position in which a second set of strips are aligned with the window strips. At least one of the image grid (30) and the masking grid (25) carries electrical charges such that the grids are held adjacent to one another.
