Covering jacket for scoop blades of flow machines

The covering jacket (4) protects the scoop blades (3) during the machining of the scoop foot (2). The covering jacket has an upper shell (5) and a lower shell (6). The shells have contact surfaces (7) shaped to fit the compression and induction sides of the scoop. On the scoop edge side, the shells can be connected to each other. Part of their surface is coated with an adhesive on the inside to connect them to the scoop blade. The covering shell thus fits exactly round the scoop blade.
