Rotary disc valve with fixed and rotating discs

The first disc (1) is non-rotationally mounted in the housing and has a second disc (4) rotary mounted and alongside it in the housing. The through-flow holes in both discs are opposite each other in the first, through-flow, position, and are in a relatively staggered, second, position so as to block the flow of fluid. The first disc is situated upstream in the housing, and has its through-flow holes (2) each possessing an outlet for dividing the fluid flow into several part-currents. The front edges (6,9,12) of the holes (5,8,11) in a disc (4) are graduated in a peripheral direction towards the front edges of the through-flow holes in the other disc.
