The sensor has a carrier element (18) arranged in a housing, at which a piezoelectric bending element (10) is applied. The bending element has two piezoelectric plates (11,12), arranged parallel to each other, with surfaces (13,14) of like polarity facing each other. The plates are connected electrically with each other. One of the surfaces (16) facing away from another surfaces has a reference voltage applied to it, whilst the other surface (17) is connected with a signal output (29). The surfaces (13,16;14,17) of each of the two plates (11,12), are electrically connected with each other, across respectively a leakage resistance (31,32).
