<p>A tool for wrapping a bundle (1) of wires (2) by means of flexible adhesive tape (3) wound transversely to its own axis around the bundle (1) and provided with longitudinal edges (5) adhered together. The tool comprises a frame (60) with a wrapping head (65) including a shaping member (68) for shaping the tape (3), said member being secured to the frame (60) and provided with a V-shaped deflecting edge (70) for forming an incipient longitudinal fold in the tape (3), and at least one first pair of jaws (72) movably mounted on the frame (60) between an open position and a closed position in which they are biased together by resilient means to adhere together the longitudinal edges (5) of the tape (3), said jaws together defining a feed channel (79) for the sheathed bundle (1).</p> |
