The frame comprises a backrest to which an arrester grille is fixed, a surface joined to the backrest to support it from a house wall, and a holder on the backrest engaging with a hook on the roof. The lever (10) coupled to the backrest (1) at one end is secured by a clamp (11,12) to a roof gutter (14) at the other. The clamp can comprise top and bottom semicircular jaws pressed together by a clamping screw (13), and the top jaw (12) can have a further clamping jaw (15) pressed against it by a second clamping screw (16). A bar (17) holding the bottom edge of the grille (18) can be clamped between the jaws (12,15). The lever (10) can hinge on the backrest.
