Watertight plastics cap for D-type electrical plug

The D type electrical connector has a plug and base 2. An electrical cable is fitted into the cap (1) and is secured by a lock nut. The base has a plate 7 and a pair of captive fixing pins pass through the plug housing and secure the parts together. The pins are sealed by O rings 4. The gap between the base and the plug is sealed by a flexible lip seal 3 that has a certain amount of compression applied to it.
