Fireproof seal between exterior of pipe and passage hole through wall or ceiling

Fire-retardant material which expands under heat, is arranged in several layers between a plastic pipe (1) and the wall passage. The plastic pipe is wrapped in a flexible, fireproof strip in at least one layer, around which is a flexible metal sheet (7) forming a sleeve (4). The metal aluminium sheet protrudes on both sides beyond the fireproof material and is fixed there directly to the plastic pipe by a holder element in the form of a clamp (5) or wire (6) enclosing the plastic pipe. The gap between the sleeve and the wall-passage is filled with mortar, filler or mineral wool (8).
