<p>The positioner consists of a magnetic plate (1) with its alignment adjustable by means of four rods (3). The rods are connected to one surface of the plate by ball joints (4) which ensure their angular mobility, while the other ends of the rods are able to slide through holes in a support (7) connected to an articulator and be fixed at the required height by locking elements (8). The positioner also has at least one steel plate (5) with supports (50) for a maxillary or mandibular module (9) on one face, able to attach to the magnetic plate by its other face. The rods (3) are have graduated markings, as do the edges of the magnetic plate.</p> |
