PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve skin feeling by using a silk processed nonwoven fabric obtained by adhering fibroin protein to the surface of fiber constructing the nonwoven fabric for linings of paper diapers. SOLUTION: This method for silk processing is to prepare a fibroin protein solution from which sericin is removed by boiling off domestic silk worm cocoons or a 5-50% fibroin protein solution by diluting the fibroin protein solution with 20-80 deg.C water, impregnate a nonwoven fabric formed by using at least one material from fibers such as pulp, rayon, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester or polyamide in the fibroin protein solution for 1-20 minutes or spray the fibroin protein solution on the surface of the fabric to add the fibroin protein on the surface constructing the nonwoven fabric, then dry and fix the fabric and obtain the silk processed nonwoven fabric. The nonwoven fabric is used for lining paper diapers by cutting the nonwoven fabric in almost rectangular shape and making bellows-like irregular wrinkles in the vicinity of both longitudinal ends. |
