PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain coated paper for delustered gravure printing, excellent in blade coater suitability, effectively reduced in missed dots (missed net points) and excellent in gravure printing suitability, and provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This coated paper for delustered gravure printing contains a pigment having a bulk density of 0.2-0.6g/cm<3> in an amount of 10-50wt.% based on the whole pigments as a pigment, has a white paper luster of 55% on the surface of the coated layer, and has a Rp value of <=2.0μm measured with a microphotograph in a set pressure of 20kgf/cm<2> at 10 millisecond after the start of pressing as the smoothness of the coated layer surface. This method for producing the coated paper for delustered gravure printing comprises coating raw paper with an aqueous coating solution containing a pigment and an adhesive agent as main components, drying the coated paper to form the coated layer, and subsequently subjecting the coated layer to a finishing treatment. The pigment contains a pigment having a bulk density of 0.2-0.6g/cm<3> in an amount of 10-50wt.% based on the whole pigments, and the glossiness of the coated layer surface is <=55%.
