PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the reproducing time without deteriorating the sound quality during quick listening reproduction by decoding and reproducing a voice encoding signal recorded in a recording medium by a frame unit of a specified time length. SOLUTION: A DSP 5 compresses digital voice data inputted based on the control of a system control unit 6 by encoding. The compressed digital voice data is recorded in a recording medium 7 via the system control unit 6. When the voice data thus recorded in the recording medium 7 via the system control unit 6 is reproduced, the system control unit 6 reads the digital voice data recorded in the recording medium 7 and supplies the data to the DSP 5. The DSP 5 as a decoding means expands the digital voice data by decoding based on the control of the system control unit 6 and then inputs the data to a D/A converter 8. |
